June 13, 2022Beaufurn is pleased to announce we will be exhibiting at NeoCon 2022, where we will highlight many superb new products in support of our commercial interior product line. Still more exciting is our unveiling of a complete brand refresh across all of our platforms, with a fresh look and feel that reflects the company’s evolution into an all-encompassing commercial furniture manufacturer. Beaufurn’s new look and logo will more accurately represent our commitment to innovation and our company’s role in furnishing inspired environments.
“While our business has transformed dramatically over the past few years, it became clear that perceptions of the company have not evolved at the same pace,” said Thomas Bongaerts, CEO of Beaufurn. “The brand refresh marks a new Beaufurn both inside the company and out, with a strategy hyper-focused on the commercial furnishings audience.”
The new brand identity, including a new logo, visual elements, and a streamlined user interface, makes its formal debut on the web as the company prepares to display at NeoCon 2022.

Design Solutions for Climate Change | Beaufurn
March 11, 2021Increasingly, architects and designers worldwide are dedicated to finding solutions to climate change as it applies to their work. Building plans are reaching beyond the goal of just being serviceable structures.
While the American Institute of Architects (AIA) has supported the Architecture 2030 Challenge toward more energy-efficiency and revamped building codes, changes are also being made to how the design community approaches building interiors.
So what are design solutions for climate change? Designers and furniture manufacturers can make a promise of environmental responsibility. They can fulfill this by incorporating sustainable practices company-wide and utilizing eco-friendly materials.
Beaufurn Looks Back at This Year’s New Furniture Designs
December 15, 2020The design industry faced a challenging year, but not one without optimism and certainly not one lacking in great commercial furniture offerings. In retrospect, the new furniture products in Beaufurn’s 2020 lineup fit perfectly with key trends in the furniture industry, including designs that are eco-friendly, flexible, playful, and bold.
Of course, sustainability has always been part of our design process, and one we will continue to embrace in the future. We incorporate sustainable practices company-wide and utilize eco-friendly materials in the production of our products.
With the year ending, we are offering a retrospective on the new furniture products Beaufurn created in 2020 that were not just trendy, but beautiful and classic products that appeal to numerous audiences. Italian, French, and Belgian influence is evident in our clean lines, novel shapes, and varied color palate.
From our side chairs and barstool to our lounge chairs, our new furniture in 2020 will likely continue in popularity for years to come.
Virtual Tours: Design Trade Shows Re-imagine Hospitality
December 4, 2020Every year, we look forward to attending HD Expo in Las Vegas, then Neocon in Chicago, and BDNY in New York. There are other shows, of course, but these are typically the big hospitality showcases in which Beaufurn participates.
This year, however, was a year of not-so-typical trade shows and exhibits. So, we adjusted, pivoted, and reimagined how to showcase our hospitality furniture to thousands of “visitors” unable to physically visit these expos.
The design industry has had to reimagine how it showcases its products and creative services while in quarantine. The “new normal” is now design revealed through webinars, virtual tours, digital showcases, and online conferences.

Furniture Solutions in the Age of COVID-19 [Healthcare options move to the front]
May 7, 2020COVID-19 put the challenge of combining safe and stylish furniture at the forefront. Furniture in hospitals and other healthcare settings undergo demanding use and repetitive cleaning. Now more than ever, healthcare furnishings need to be easily disinfected, while also durable enough to withstand multiple sanitation routines. With its newly launched Healthcare Collection, Beaufurn has products and furnishings for all high-use areas immediately available that are easily maintained, cleaned, and antimicrobial.
Beaufurn – We Keep You Safe
April 29, 2020Design experts in the furnishings industry are working earnestly to conceptualize ways to help create safer environments in our universities, hotels, restaurants, and healthcare facilities. They are focused on products that offer antimicrobial benefits yet are suitable for high-use and durable enough to withstand multiple cleanings with disinfectants.
Beaufurn is already integrating antimicrobial technology and multi-cleansing durability in its interior and exterior furnishings. We recently introduced our Healthcare Collection, a line of furniture designed specifically for healthcare and assisted living facilities.
Our team is forward-thinking and looking forward to helping designers create with insight gained from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Earth Day & Beyond: Embrace a Sustainable Approach to Design
April 22, 2020Around the world, people and industries celebrate Earth Day in support of environmental protection. Going “green” for a day is commendable, but we believe green all year is best.
We want to be first in mind for clients who seek furnishings well-suited for their green building designs. Beaufurn product lines fit the need of designers who prioritize sustainability not only in their choice of building materials but in the entirety of their designs – following LEED standards with a vision to contribute to more sustainable lives, indoors and outdoors, worldwide.
Embrace Earth Day and every day with beautiful design that considers the following at its conception.
Beaufurn Training: “Old-World Apprenticeship” for the Future
March 18, 2020In the 20th century, handmade products were all the rage. Apprenticeship opportunities boomed and so many of the products circulating the country were proudly built in the USA. However, the mid-1990’s marked the “near-death of furniture manufacturing” in North Carolina, when manufacturers began cutting costs by outsourcing labor; first to Mexico, then in China.
Thanks to this rise in outsourcing, we’re missing an entire generation of craftsmen; one polling determined that only employees over 45 years old have the hands-on upholstering experience and finishing skills needed to create the standard of furniture we see today. Beaufurn, on the other hand, has outlasted this outsourcing trend and is taking action to combat the worsening situation.
Beaufurn: A History, An Evolution
February 6, 20201996 was a turning point for Beautiful Furniture Co. and its founder, Bill Bongaerts. What started as a booming business in Connecticut was suddenly turned topsy-turvy when a weekend fire demolished the company’s original home. When faced with the decision to rebuild, Bill chose a new route: create Beaufurn, LLC.
