Virtual Tours: Design Trade Shows Re-imagine Hospitality
December 4, 2020Every year, we look forward to attending HD Expo in Las Vegas, then Neocon in Chicago, and BDNY in New York. There are other shows, of course, but these are typically the big hospitality showcases in which Beaufurn participates.
This year, however, was a year of not-so-typical trade shows and exhibits. So, we adjusted, pivoted, and reimagined how to showcase our hospitality furniture to thousands of “visitors” unable to physically visit these expos.
The design industry has had to reimagine how it showcases its products and creative services while in quarantine. The “new normal” is now design revealed through webinars, virtual tours, digital showcases, and online conferences.
The Office Changes | Workspace Design Evolves
September 22, 2020Current global events are changing the way the world goes to work. For some, the office is now the dining room table or some other room at home that has been converted for new duties. For others, they are traveling to the office at some limited capacity with on and off days or limited hours, and for other small businesses, maybe the office is the same but sanitizing stations and mask reminders are prevalent.
It’s not surprising that work looks different, but how can we still feel connected within this new setting? It’s challenging for managers and employees to remain engaged.
