The bark of the malacca cane is left on the frame and since it is used the way mother nature provides it, it will come with all the imperfections that in no way affect the strength of the frames. Not one chair will be alike. Expect variations in grain, color, skin, bark, stain. The assembly of the chairs is hand made with galvanized staples and screws. The malacca cane we use is of the best possibly quality for making chairs and incredibly sturdy. It is a natural product that is steamed bent to make the frames and the chairs are entirely hand made. The bark of the malacca cane is left on the frame and since it is used the way mother nature provides it, it will come with all the imperfections that in no way affect the strength of the frames. Not one chair will be alike. Expect variations in grain, color, skin, bark, stain. The assembly of the chairs is hand made with galvanized staples and screws. This is the way they have been built for over 100 years as it is the best way to hand build those frames.

Named for the Baltic Sun God, the award - winning Saule is a side arm umbrella , preferred because it leaves more table space for food and beverages, and offers diners an uninterrupted view. Truly an extension of the indoors, Saule performs well in inclement weather with the option of rain gutters , which securely shuttle water away from occupants. Options including incorporated heaters and LED lighting will be available later in the year.

Saule is a multi-pole design , made of high quality aluminum extrusion that holds up to four umbrellas in a range of configurations. Round ( 11 feet, 4 inches ) or square ( 8 feet, 2 inches) umbrellas can be arranged in single, double, triple or quadruple layouts, covering up to 285 square feet, enough to shade 16 diners. The pole can be grounded to the floor with an anchor or secured with added weights and a stainless steel surface plate .

With a continuum of colors from Black widow to White sand, Saule coordinates well with Beaufurn existing collection of outdoor furniture. The eight colors include: Bitter orange, Black widow, Butter cup, Forest green, Navy blue, Taupe, Terra and White sand . Made of 100 percent , solution- dyed acrylic from Dickson, the umbrellas block 95 to 100 percent of UV rays. The washable fabric is stain, mildew and fade resistant.

Key to the success of Saule is its patented one Move ™ System, a pole mechanism that raises or lowers the umbrella in a single movement. Thanks to its gas spring, the umbrellas can be lifted effortless with basically the tip of the finger, as opposed to standing on a chair and having to crank up an umbrella. The commercial quality of the frame is outstanding, and once installed it offers trouble –free service for many years to come.
